John Brewster is a free-spirited singer-songwriter on a mission to share empowering music and cultivate inner peace all while minimizing regret and enjoying life. Originally from Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, John’s musical journey began at age five with the violin. It wasn’t until his grandmother handed him his grandfather's classical guitar in high school that his passion for songwriting and singing truly came alive.
After exploring music at the College of Charleston, Brewster hit the road with his first original band, SondorBlue, touring extensively before landing back at his parents' house in 2018. In 2020, he took a leap of faith, releasing his first single, and soon after moved to Colorado—not knowing anyone—to dream bigger than ever before. In 2021, he dropped his debut album 42°, introducing listeners to his uplifting lyrics, soulful vocals, and acoustic-driven melodies.
In 2025, Brewster released his highly anticipated sophomore album, Scientist of Love, exploring heartbreak, healing, and hope. Now back in South Carolina, John has been performing countless heartfelt live shows closer to family, often with his looper pedal setup, freestyling songs for people in the audience, and steadily growing a dedicated fan base.
